Directors and Special Education, Principals, School Psychologists and Special Education Teachers Networking Opportunity
On February 14, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.(lunch is provided), CESA 4 will be offering a networking opportunity for school teams around the topic of SLD implementation and management of learning in the RtI world. Special Education administrators, principals, school psychologists and special education teachers are invited to join in a guided discussion session to discuss:
- Brief overview of SLD requirements
- Completing the ER-2 form
- District and school-based roles in managing progress monitoring
- The difference between research/evidence based- interventions and evidence-based teaching strategies
- Other concerns of teams
The overall goal for the session is for teams from multiple schools to share with others where they are in their planning for SLD, to learn from each other and to support the efforts of all CESA 4 schools in meeting new SLD criteria in the Rti world.
Session is free to Flagship members and at a reduced rate of $25.00 for Basic Service members.
Cost is $50.00 for non-members.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
