This is a BLENDED book study. It starts March 12, 2013 and goes until April 16, 2013. Participants will meet via Distance Learning on March 12th and again on April 16th from 4:00-6:00PM; the rest will be following a blog to share how things are working.
This will be a blended learning opportunity. You will use Kellie Marcarelli's book and the two science consultants to learn about and start implementing some notebooking strategies into your science classroom. The class will be focused on your implementation of some of the notebooking strategies.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand how to set up a notebook for interactive learning in a science classroom.
- Understand how to use a notebook during science investigations.
- Understand how to use a notebook to promote learning through writing and discussion.
