This is an introductory 2-day workshop. No prior knowledge or background with Moodle is expected.
Moodle is software to create and manage classroom websites with secure online learning activities: forums, journals, glossaries, wikis, quizzes, assignments, resources, etc. It is appropriate for grades 4-12 and all subject areas. Participants in this hands-on workshop will gain a thorough understanding of what Moodle can do, as well as begin to build their first “course/site.” Follow-up support options will be discussed. To learn more about Moodle, explore http://moodle.org/.
Lunch is provided. There will be an option to earn 1 graduate credit from Viterbo for $110.
Participants must bring a laptop with wireless Internet capability.
Please note:
Cost: $0 for member school districts; $250 for non-members. Please see attached flyer for member districts.
