This is the first of an ongoing series of comprehensive networking opportunities for Early Childhood Professionals. The objective of this series is to help Early Childhood Professionals build their curriculum, assessments, and instructional methods around many of the new state mandates.

This workshop is structured to bring districts together to develop curriculum that is aligned to the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as well as preparing students for the transition to the Common Core Standards expectations and instructional methods in Kindergarten.  We will engage in deeper understanding of the expectation of these standards, unpack what they mean and develop a plan of how we will implement them in the classroom with a standards-based scope and sequence.

Presenters:

Amanda Popovich, CESA #12 Curriculum Coordinator

Sue Erickson, CESA #12 Early Childhood Program Support
