Audience: Grades 4-12 educators (all content areas)
How do you know teachers are shifting to the Common Core?
According to the demands of the Common Core, educators can employ the Gradual Release of Responsibility across multiple disciplines. Gradual Release promotes explicit teacher instruction through focus lessons, collaborative inquiry-centered student learning, and an opportunity to bring students to independence as we seek student mastery of the "fewer and deeper" standards of the Common Core. This workshop will focus on transforming instruction to align with the optimal learning model. In short, this workshop addresses just one piece of the Common Core puzzle for 4-12 educators.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
