Classroom Management

This workshop series is designed to assist new teachers. These blended ITV/face-to-face workshops are offered by the CESA 8, Curriculum Instruction and Assessment Department. Each session will include a presentation, share shop, roundtable, and Q/A opportunities provided by experts in the field. Attend one or all of the sessions.

Classroom Management ~ November 15, 2012~ 4:00—6:30 PM ~ *via distance

Gradual Release and the Common Core Standards ~ January 17, 2013 ~ 4:00—6:30 PM ~ *via distance

Formative Assessment Strategies ~ February 21, 2013~ 4:00—6:30 PM ~ *via distance

Writing a PDP (Professional Development Plan) ~ March 21, 2013 4:00—6:30 PM ~ *via distance

SMART Board and iPad Uses in the Classroom ~  April 9, 2013~ 9:00 AM—3:00 PM  at CESA

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
