Welcome back to another year of fun and informative SLP program support meetings! Our first meeting with be on Tuesday, October 30th at the CESA #12 building in Ashland. It is a full day meeting, with the morning hours (8:30 - 12:00) being devoted to "business as usual" or discussions on current, relevant topics in the areas of articulation, phonology, oral motor, language, auditory processing, fluency, voice, etc. If you have ideas/materials you want to share - bring them along! We will have lunch at noon until 12:45.

The afternoon hours (1:00 to 4:00) will involve a DPI mediasite presentation, the annual
Speech/Language Leadership & PST fall meeting (details below). I look forward to seeing everyone on the 30th!
We are invited to join Sheryl Thormann and other consultants from DPI for the Fall meeting of the S/L Leadership and PST Network via Mediasite live from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  We will meet at 12:30 before the telecast starts.  Below is the description:

Description: Highlights include a DPI compliance update addressing screening, RtI, and paraprofessionals.  We will discuss current speech and language practice issues in the public schools including the use of telespeech as a method of service delivery and the increase in the use of paraprofessionals in speech and language programs around the state.  An overview of Agenda 2017, the comprehensive plan for education reform, will be provided to highlight several important education initiatives and the timeline for implementation of those initiatives.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:
