Based on the Network discussion last spring, the following book has been selected for our book study this year:  Social-Emotional Curriculum with Gifted and Talented Students by Joyce L. VanTasssel-Baska, Ed.D., Tracy L. Cross Ph.D.,  and F. Richard Olenchak, PhD.


Learning Outcomes:
1. Participants will learn and discuss theories to guide affective curricula.
2. Participants will become familiar with and the opportunity to talk about models used to developed social-emotional curricula.
3. Participants will read about and discuss strategies to promote the social-emotional needs of gifted students.
