Efficient but Effective IEP Meetings, Roles & Responsibilities for IEP Team Members - AM SESSION

A panel of local Directors will present an overview of Efficient but Effective IEP Meetings, Roles and Responsibilities for all IEP Team Members.  There will be two sessions. Session two is a repeat of the first session.

The panel will be as follows:  

Trudy DeSimons, Director of Pupil Services, Wisconsin Rapids Area School District
Jesse Jackson, Director of Student Services, Marshfield Area School District
Greg Nyen, Director of Student Services, Stevens Point Area School District
Tammy Nyen, Special Education Director, Wausau Area School District
Jennifer Zynda, Director of Pupil Services & Special Education D.C. Everest Area School District

Concurrent to the director's presentation, Attorney Gary Ruesch from Buelow-Vetter LLC will provide an overview on the rights and responsibilities of individuals acting in the role of the Local Education Agency Representative (LEA Rep).   The two presentations are meant to work in tandem with each other to facilitate better IEP team meetings.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
