This full day training is intended to inform school personnel how to implement Effective Practices for DPI's new IEP: (PTP) Postsecondary Transition Plan application and explore a variety of new transition resources. The PTP application includes a multitude of resources that can be utilized when creating a high quality transition plan. In addition, this training will preview and highlight the new and improved WSTI website and the new Transition Resources for Youth (TR4Y) website. The trainer will also highlight new tools for families and youth.  Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

NOTE: This training is not a "how to use" the PTP application. Online training modules on how to use the PTP application can be found on DPI's website at http://dpi.wi.gov/sped/spp-transition.html and can be completed at your own pace.

This training has been developed in collaboration with DPI and WSTI.
