Training on Resources for Bullying Prevention—Elementary & Middle School

Training Includes:
- Research review on bullying, including brain research
- Identification of the three types of bullies and strategies to address each type
- Review of developmentally appropriate classroom instructional units for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8
- Overview of other bullying resources
- Bully Bowl Game Show CD
Curriculum Includes Lessons On (UPDATED CURRICULUM includes lesson on cyberbullying & a new trade book):
- Friends who bully
- Ways to use comebacks that work
- Role plays for the bystander to be more effective
- Skills necessary to build a bully-free school
- Cyberbullying
- Meaningful Apologies
Who Should Attend:
Classroom Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Curriculum Directors, Safe & Drug Free Schools Coordinators and After School Program Directors

Registration Fee (includes lunch):
- ATOD Network Schools: $80/person + $40 for curriculum and 2-3 youth books used in curriculum (Trade Books Retail at $20/book)
- ATOD Non-Network Schools: $120/person + $40 for curriculum and 2-3 youth books used in curriculum (Non-Network Schools Include: Fall River, Marshfield, Mauston, Steven Point, Waupaca & Wild Rose)
