The CESA5/eClass4learning Blended Learning Course can assist you in creating a long-term sustainable blended learning model aimed at improving student achievement.

Courses developed with eClass4learning are:

  • Aligned to the Common Core Standards
  • Created in the Moodle platform
  • Teachers have 100% ability to edit and change course content and settings
  • CESA5/eClass4learning has assisted districts with creating courses in all disciplines, grade levels and content areas
  • The blended learning course is designed to empower educators to effectively teach in engaging online learning environments and differentiate instruction in ways that would be difficult to do in traditional learning environments.

In order to be a good online instructor teachers need to first experience online learning as a student. Teachers will participate as online students using various tools in Moodle (i.e. discussion boards, online glossary, online assessments, blogs, wikis, uploading of documents). Teachers will also set up your own blended course in Moodle. The purpose of the course is to supplement teaching you already do face-to-face and create a learning environment where students can continue to learn beyond classroom walls. Finally, teachers will participate as practice students in one another's courses.

The Blended Learning Course is 11 weeks in length with the first session Face to Face (4hours).  The remainder of the class is held online.  Educators will earn a certificate of completion that meets the Wisconsin Online Teaching Requirements.  There is a $20 processing fee to receive your certificate.

VITERBO CREDIT will be available ... 3 Credits = $330 payable to Viterbo
