This interactive workshop will bring reading in the FL classroom to life! Learn how to implement guided reading to accelerate the rate of acquisition, how to keep the process fresh and engaging and how to turn any type of reading (ie.: news article, poem, song lyrics, leveled reader, etc.)  into a fun and successful educational experience for all learners, regardless of level or ability! Discover how to use novels (leveled readers) as a base for any level of your curricula and how to use reader's theater to increase comprehension and engagement. Participants will leave with an arsenal of specific strategies to immediately make all types of text more comprehensible, more engaging, and highly likely to result in FLUENCY in the Target Language.

Learning Outcome: Participants will learn specific strategies to make all types of text more comprehensible.
