Audience
A cross section team including key individuals: leadership staff, instructional staff, grade level and building level problem-solving team members, both general and special education. Having prior knowledge and basic implementation understanding of the Wisconsin RtI framework is highly encouraged.

Day 1 Outcomes
• Understand the purpose, components, and benefits of universal screening in Wisconsin’s RtI Framework
• Identify potential tools and data sources for use in a universal screening process
• Learn processes for collaborative analysis of universal screening results, including the use of data walls, decision rules, and cut scores

Day 2 Outcomes
• Understand the purpose and benefits of progress monitoring in an RtI framework
• Learn to select appropriate and identify potential progress monitoring tools
• Learn to set appropriate goals for students receiving interventions
• Learn to create and use decision rules to gauge student progress
• Learn strategies to use progress monitoring data for instructional decision-making

What to Bring
Where available, school teams are encouraged to bring a list of tools and data currently used in the school/district for screening and progress monitoring. Teams should also bring, if available, copies of current data-based decision-making processes and/or decision rules used by collaborative teams in the school/district.
At least one team member should bring a laptop to record team discussions and decisions during the two-day workshop.
 

Cost
$100 per person. Fee covers both days of training and a light breakfast, lunch, and snack each day.

Refunds will not be offered if cancelling within 7 days prior to the start of the training.
 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the training date for a refund to be issued. Cancellations for the PBIS Conference must be received 30 days in advance. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. The Wisconsin RtI Centers reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
