Notice Updates: It is now the first 15 people to register will get free books! And the deadline to register is now September 14th.

This book study will focus on best practice for reading instruction. It is a relevant book for all teachers of reading K-8. The authors Nancy Frey, Douglas Fisher, and Adam Berkin are nationally acclaimed for their expertise in reading instruction. Although this book has the same title as the reading series from Pearson, it is pertinent information to all teachers of reading. This book is available through Amazon, but for the first 15 people to register, I have free books. One graduate credit is available through St. Mary's for $130. Registration will be explained on the first evening of class. This book study is sponsored by the Title I State Network.

Learning Outcome 1: Participants will understand the main comprehension strategies.
