Do you as a Title I or Special Ed. teacher feel out of the loop when it comes to the Common Core State Standards? Have you had time to explore the new standards in English/Language Arts and Math to ensure that your instruction is connected to the grade level expectations of your students? Today is a full day of working with the CCSS. Please bring along a copy of both the English/Language Arts and Math standards. One content area will be covered in the AM, the other in the PM. If you are only a Math person during your half day when you aren't in the main conference room, conversations will be facilitated and work time allowed for your new learning. Sponsored by: Title I Network.

Learning Outcome 1: Participants will explore the CCSS in English/Langauge Arts.

Learning Outcome 2: Participants will explore the CCSS in Math.

Learning Outcome 3: Participants will identify what kids need to know and be able to do and identify how that will effect their classroom instruction.
