Internet Resources for Elementary Teachers

The Internet is full of resources that you can use in your elementary classroom. Are you looking for interactive objects and games in any topic area, virtual field trips to take your students around the world, research sites for younger students, or new assessment tools? Come see how you can find these tools and integrate these sites into your curriculum and classroom.

     * Participants will create a delicious account to bookmark sites for future use.
     * Participants will receive a brief introduction to various Internet resource sites including Thinkfinity, Teachers Domain, Badgerlink, Scholastic, and Intel.
     * Participants will receive guided, hands-on practice exploring each of the sites.

**Please plan on bringing along a portable computer with wireless Internet capability.**

** Registration fees waived for educators who register by January 7th from full-service ITSS districts: Adams-Friendship, Columbus, Montello, New Lisbon, Pardeeville, Portage, Poynette, Randolph, Rio, Rosholt, Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin Dells.
