“I’m the new Standard T (Gifted) coordinator, so now what?” “Where do I begin?” “What am I responsible for?” “How do I meet the needs of gifted students?” If you are a new GT coordinator and are seeking answers to these questions, please join us. This meeting is designed for new district gifted coordinators or veteran coordinators who would like to review their roles and responsibilities in their district. We will have an opportunity to sit down with Chrys Mursky, Wisconsin DPI GT Consultant, and have some heart-to-heart conversations on your new role.

Discussions will include, but are not limited to the following: Standard T Overview, Identification & Defining Giftedness, Programming, Serving SwGT in an RtI Framework, Resource Mapping, Program Evaluation, Resources, and more.

If you need further information or if you have any questions, please contact Julee Dredske (dredskej@cesa5.org) or Wanda Williams (williamsw@cesa5.org).

CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
