This training is only for participants who have been invited to participate in the development of a statewide project that will provide teachers in the State of WI with a database of resources they can search to find examples of classroom activities to teach information technology literacy that is integrated with the English Language Arts.

Participants should bring a laptop, iPad, or other device enabling them to access the internet to search for quality digital resources.

The objectives of the EETT project include:
1. Gather online resources and electronically upload to a repository, and vet resources to assure they meet the level of quality expected by the DPI. The project will use the Wisconsin ITLS and CCSS Curriculum Crosswalk to develop the collection tool. The project will use Google forms for gathering data.
2. A professional development activity will be available which each CESA can use to train local teachers in the gathering process. The activity will be a one-day face-to-face event. A Google site for accessing information and materials for the professional development activity will have been created.
3. The project will use the Achieve Rubric for evaluating the quality of the resource submissions.
