8th Annual CESA 5 School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Institute (Both Days)

SPEAKER CHANGE:  Due to illness, Dr. Judy Montgomery is unable to present on March 8, 2010.  Pam Marshalla will speak at Dr. Montgomery's scheduled sessions.

Purpose:  This two-day conference provides speech-language pathologists (SLPs) hands-on, ready-to-replicate strategies and techniques to benefit the students they serve with speech-language disabilities.  The conference also provides an opportunity for SLPs to re-connect with the greater community of school-based SLPs and to facilitate a cross-pollination of service delivery ideas.  In addition to distinguished speakers, this conference features many vendor exhibits, early registration on Sunday 4-7pm, a networking reception on Monday 4:30-6pm and many valuable door prizes.  Over 500 SLPs attended the 2009 conference.  Please join us in 2010 to network with your peers and to enjoy the Wisconsin Dells area.

Presenters:  Pam Marshalla, MA, CCC-SLP, Marshalla Speech and Language, Mill Creek WA; Mary Joslin, MS, CESA 10; Barbara L. Davis, PhD, The University of Texas at Austin; and Casey O'Keefe, MS, CCC-SLP, Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee WI.   NOTE:  Use web browser back arrow to return to this page after viewing the links.   Pam Marshalla's bio and session description, as well as additional conference information, are available on the CESA 5 website.

Viterbo Credit:  Optional one graduate credit from Viterbo University is available for two-day attendees (add'l $200 for tuition and fees).  Please indicate your intention to attend for credit by also registering for the VITERBO course listed on the MyQuickReg event calendar.  If you plan to attend for credit, you need to register for two events ... 8th SLP Institute (Both Days) and 8th SLP Institute VITERBO.  This will ensure that you receive the course registration form in February.  You will pay $200 to Viterbo when you check-in at the conference.
