This is for AODA Consortium School Districts (Bayfield, Butternut, Chequamegon, Mellen, Mercer, Solon Springs, Washburn) as a part of the grant requirement to train on how to develop and hold on-line meetings, message boards, and information sharing techniques. As per the grant we will also spend time setting up monthly meetings for the remainder of the school year, half to be via Internet, half to be face-to-face meetings. This workshop is also open to other district guidance staff that would like to be a part of a collegial group and have opportunities to talk with other guidance staff throughout CESA 12. In this time of decreased funding, finding ways to share ideas and share concerns at a low cost is crucial. We hope you will join us at CESA 12 to participate in this training.

We will also have a short presentation from Lynn Verage from CESA 9 regarding the new Wisconsin Safe and Healthy Schools Center and from Jayne Lehnert who is working with Wisconsin Medical Association Foundation to assist districts through a Bremer Grant to set up SADD groups in Ashland and Bayfield Counties.

AODA Grant Consortium members must attend this training.

Registration Fee:

$0 for AODA Grant Consortium School Districts (Bayfield, Butternut, Chequamegon, Mellen, Mercer, Solon Springs, Washburn)

$25 for AODA Network Districts (Ashland, Drummond, Hurley, Maple, Solon Springs, South Shore)

Participants are asked to bring a laptop with wireless Internet access if they are able.
