The 5-day train-the-trainer master teacher program has been designed to build the capacity necessary to implement a model for creating Gold Seal Lessons based on the Rigor, Relevance and Relationship framework. This professional development will provide participants with the tools, staff development, resources and support that will enable schools to sustain a climate of continuous instructional improvement.

The goal is to provide every master teacher with the skills and knowledge necessary to make rigor, relevance, and relationships a reality in their own classrooms and to provide appropriate resources and activities that will allow the master teachers to conduct professional development for their peers. As a result of the training and networking opportunities created by this program, a database of Gold Seal Lessons will be created and made available to all schools participating in the program.

Audience: K-12 Master Teachers and Principals
