The price for this two-day class is $220.00 which includes one graduate credit from Viterbo University.  ITASC district (Benton, Blackhawk, Boscobel, Darlington,Dodgeville, Ithaca, Richland, River Ridge, Seneca, Wauzeka) participant pay $165.00. A check for the full amount of the class must be written to Viterbo University on the first day of class.

Participants in this two-day class will select a mobile device (ipad, chromebook, kindle fire, netbook, or nook.) They will become familiar with how this device works.  Participants working with devices other than iPads, must bring their own devices.   They will write a classroom management policy for using a classroom set of these devices. The management policy will include any logins necessary for using the device, backup and charging of the device, method of update, repair and troubleshooting, when and how students use them. They will then explore the standards of their curricular area and develop a project-based lesson that includes the use of this device.   Participants will be expected to share their management policies and lesson plans.  As a follow-up to this class they will be expected to teach the lessons they developed,  have their students complete a CESA generated student survey and they will complete a CESA generated teacher survey.

WES8The teacher understands and uses formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual, social, and physical development of the pupil.
Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #3 at least one week prior to the scheduled event to cancel and receive a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellations not received at least one week prior to the registered event will be charged the full registration fee. CESA #3 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot. Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated. CESA #3 is handicapped accessible.
