2012 Cray Academy
This session will introduce participants to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework and how the framework gives teachers a practical approach to reaching the diverse learners in their classroom. Topics include the UDL principles and guidelines by Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST), the convergence of AT and UDL, the ways digital media can increase accessibility of the core instructional materials and textbooks, and the way the UDL framework supports development of expert learners.
