2012 Cray Academy
Day 1 will provide participants the opportunity to learn how to create, share, and collaboratively edit documents, presentations, and spreadsheets online using Google Docs.
Day 2 will cover Google Earth.
Presenters: Neil Johnson and Diane Plantz
Neil Johnson has 33 years of experience in education, twenty as a grade 5-6 teacher, ten as a district technology coordinator, and three as an educational technology consultant. He has conducted many workshops for teachers, knows how to have a good time, and currently works at CESA 10. His BA is from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire while his MS and PhD are from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
After 13 years in elementary classrooms, Diane Plantz has been with CESA 10 in the Educational Technology Services area for over 20 years. She currently coordinates grants and facilitates staff development activities relating to technology integration. She has presented at state and local conferences and provides staff development in many CESA 10 districts.

Course Assessment Requirements:
- Attend all required days.
- Write a reflection page after each day's activities.
- Complete all in-class activities.
- Share completed activities with other participants.
- Create a plan for curriculum integration.
