Do any of these concerns sound familiar?

  • Not enough time or support
  • Parent issues
  • New students arrive without a BIP
  • Student scheduling problems
  • How to support students without materials
  • IEP writing problems
  • Best supports for different disability areas
  • Frustrations with other teachers

Join us for the organizational meeting of the multi-categorical networking groups!  Whatever students with disabilities you work with, this group will offer suggestions and support to you. Meet other teachers who encounter the same concerns, and discover support from your
colleagues. Coming to the organizational meeting will give you a voice in planning future meetings and topics of discussion. Other issues which will be addressed include: The new SLD criteria, the changing role of special education teachers, RtI, behavioral concerns, PBIS, indicator update, and much, much more!

Registration 8:30 AM; Program 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Spring meeting date:  Apr 14, 2010.  Cost: $65 or Early Bird Special: $110 if both sessions are registered and paid for by Oct. 9th!  Early Bird fee is non-refundable, but attendance at each session is transferable!
