RtI and Family Engagement Online Module

Family engagement is essential to fully develop Wisconsin's vision for system-wide change utilizing RtI. The module Response to Intervention and Family Engagement provides an overview of how Response to Intervention (RtI) is defined in Wisconsin and research based practices that can be used to involve families in RtI at their school. In identifying ways that families and schools can work together in an RtI system it is important to recognize the need to work with families to support student learning. Research shows that when families and schools work together students do better academically and behaviorally.

Those planning to facilitate this online module with a group may wish to attend the Train the Facilitator Workshop. This one-day Train the Trainer Workshop will allow participants to become familiar with the Facilitation Guide that accompanies the online module.

Who should attend: Participants by invitation would include - WSPEI, FACETS, RtI TACs, PTA, Parents Plus.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
