Presenter: Julie LaBerge, School Psychologist/Director of Pupil Services; Parent, Model Site Director for the National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders Project
Day 3: Evidence-Based Practices and Student Panel – This day will focus on Evidence-Based Practices and resources that are available to educators, parents, and anyone in the community interested in learning how about autism or how to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Currently there are over 30 Evidence-Based Practices that are available for FREE to anyone for professional development purposes. This day will provide participants with an opportunity to review these resources and learn how to navigate the learning modules. The focus will be educational interventions based each participants individualized learning interests. A student panel of teenage students with autism spectrum disorders will be available to share their stories and answer audience questions on this day.
Fee: $60.00 per person for members
$100.00 per person for non-members
Lunch is included. A $50.00 discount will be given to those who register for all four days of the Summer Symposium on Autism.
