PBIS District Leadership Summit

 Objectives
Teams will develop a district plan for PBIS implementation and sustainability, self-assess the systems necessary for capacity building, professional development and sustainability, action plan around identified financial resources, personnel time commitment, and other district specific needs, including coordination/braiding with other district initiatives.

Target Audience
Districts that have already attended Administrative Overview and have buy-in from their district. Teams of 6-8 people should be formed and should include: District Administrators (Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Special Education Director), Building Administrators, , School board member, Parent Representative, Teacher , Internal and External Coaches. Note: This is not a day intended for school level training or planning.

Preparation
Participants should bring district-wide data such as:

• District-wide ODR data per day per month, by race/ethnicity, special ed. Status; additionally schools may want to refer to:

*Suspension/expulsions, Detentions
*Attendance data
*Academic data including State testing scores
*Special education referral rates, Educational Environment rates
*Dropout rates and Graduation rates
*Office Discipline Referral Data with Ethnicity percentages and referrals to alternative schools

Registration fee: free for those registered by Apr. 13th; $30 per district team (up to 6) after Apr. 13th. Continental breakfast & lunch provided. 
 

 

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
