Overview
This is day-long workshop for educators to work with a trainer on the uses of the Woodcock-Johnson III Tests of Achievement from evaluation and identification to utilizing the results to form goals and lesson plans as well as the use as a progress monitoring tool. There will also be time in the afternoon for educators to network with each other.

Presenter
Joseph Claeys is a certified school psychologist with experience working with children in many different settings. He has worked as a Court Appointed Special Advocate helping children that were adjudicated Child in Need of Care. He has worked in community mental health clinic as a child case manager helping parents and children that were experiencing mental health issues, and he has taught children that were diagnosed with emotional issues in a BD/ED classroom. He has also served as an adjust instructor at Wichita State University teaching the graduate level course on psychological assessment.

While working for a local clinical psychologist, Joe has evaluated adults that were incarcerated and adolescents and children that were residents at Charter Hospital. Currently he is employed as a school psychologist and is responsible for providing consultation and evaluation services to three schools with children in grades K-12. Joe uses the Woodcock-Johnson® III as his primary assessment tool and uses CHC theory to guide interpretation.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:
