Summer Technology Institute
This hands-on workshop introduces par-ticipants to the key features and basic interface of iWork. iWork is Apple's suite of productivity tools that includes Pages for producing professional looking doc-uments, Numbers for creating spread-sheets, tables and charts, and Keynote for developing high-quality presentations.
In this workshop you will learn how to create everything from first-rate class-room documents and newsletters to
effective budgets and event planners. Learn how to effortlessly create stunning presentations, complete with Apple-designed themes, cinema-quality anima-tions, and voiceover narration. Create compelling spreadsheets for everything from classroom budgets to event planning. All three applications offer import and export compatibility with Microsoft Office applications.

Viterbo Credit is available for an additional $200. Participants will complete Viterbo Registration and payment the day of workshop. University credit will be awarded based on the expectation that you attend the entire workshop and complete all assignments.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
