Teacher Boot Camp 2.0
2024 - 2025 Virtual Series
Description:
Are you a second or third year early childhood special education teacher? Are you feeling comfortable in your role but still needing and wanting to learn more on certain topics? If so, our Boot Camp 2.0 cohort is the perfect opportunity for you! This ongoing professional learning experience will provide you with a deeper level of knowledge on a variety of topics while providing you with opportunities to engage in conversations with your colleagues from across the state. Additionally, you will learn strategies and practices that can be applied in your classroom. Each virtual session will be facilitated by an Early Childhood Technical Assistance Specialist and may include guest speakers from the DPI.
Who Should Participate?
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teachers who have been working in ECSE for two or three years.
Potential Topics May Include:
- SEL and challenging behaviors
- Teaching neurodiverse preschoolers
- Using evidenced-based teaching practices
- Classroom schedules & routines
- Understanding and using Indicator 6 & 7 data
- Collaboration with general education staff
- Evaluations & IEPs
Event Registration:
This no cost, virtual Boot Camp is offered through the Early Learning Technical Assistance & Implementation Grant funded through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
