The Wisconsin Statewide Transition Initiative (WSTI) is collaborating with the Regional Service Network (RSN) to assist educators with the understanding and implementation of the Summary of Performance.

This professional development opportunity will provide participants with the following information:
1) Understanding the “who, what, when, and why” of the SoP
2) Review of the findings of SoP surveys completed by school districts, DVR liaisons, ADRC directors, and postsecondary education disability services staff
3) New information that is helpful for disability determination
4) New effective practice SoP forms
5) Examples of SoPs for various disabilities
6) SoP checklist to review SoPs----please bring SoPs to review with the checklist in the afternoon
7) Discussion of the impact of Common Core Standards and the new SLD criteria on SoP development and content

Administrator Standards
WAS1The administrator has an understanding of and demonstrates competence in the teacher standards under s. PI 34.02.
WAS2The administrator leads by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared by the school community.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
