Learn about best practices to support student mental health in your own classroom setting. Whether we are correcting a behavior, giving feedback on an assignment, reteaching a math concept, or trying to solve a conflict, we are presented with countless opportunities to shape the social, emotional, and behavioral skills of students every school day. In this session, we will talk more about how to recognize, teach, and reinforce discrete skills, knowledge, and dispositions in these areas to meaningfully contribute to student success in learning, relationships, and self-management. This workshop will provide universal strategies to improve student mental wellness.
This workshop is part of the CESA #4 Framework for Success - Mental Health Literacy Events and is recommended for ALL EC and elementary certified and support staff.
This workshop is FREE for districts enrolled in the Framework for Success mental health programming. Non-enrolled districts are $150.00 per individual registered. All billing adjustments, including discounts, will take place prior to invoicing.
Each workshop includes food and drink, copies of training materials, and digital resources.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
