Keys to Beginning Reading is an accredited, science-based literacy, training program endorsed by the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. CESA 12 is offering live, facilitated asynchronous, and/or synchronous training cohorts for districts to train educators who teach 5K-grade 3 reading, including special educators and teachers of multilingual learners.

Participants will complete 11 online modules following a pacing guide and will attend live virtual/in-person sessions as outlined by the cohort.  The online module time will vary based on the participant's background knowledge and experiences with the foundational skill of focus in the module; though, Keys to Beginning Reading estimates about 36 hours in modules.

Cost: $600 per person (covers registration, online platform materials, book-training guide, and live facilitative coaching for implementation sessions)  Last date to register for Cohort 1 is March 9, 2024.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.

Weather conditions:

If a workshop has been canceled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. Please make sure all your contact information is correct on myQuickReg.com
