Analyzing Data - Formative, Interim, and Summative

 

K-12 educators and leaders are invited to join a three day workshop focused on analyzing assessment data. Participants will explore 

  • Implementation of a strategic assessment system and culture of use

  • Formative, interim, and summative data analysis

  • Integrating a balanced assessment system

 The three days of learning will deepen your understanding and refine your skills in data analysis for impactful student learning outcomes.

  • Participants will explore connections with standards, learning objectives, and assessment.

  • Participants will develop proficiency scales in assessment.

  • Participants will gain proficiency in analyzing assessment data to identify patterns, trends, and areas of students' growth and strengths.

  • Participants will explore strategies for using assessment data to adjust instructional practices, including adapting lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the needs of their students. 

  • Participants will use assessment data to develop action plans to improve student outcomes, setting measurable goals, and monitoring progress over time.

Information: This professional learning session is part of the 2023-24 Assessment Professional Learning and Coaching Series. The most impactful outcomes of the workshop will be realized with multiple people from your district, including an instructional leader.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
