Counselor Networking - The Basics of AVP topics on State Report Cards (Virtual)

December 13, 2023

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

This will be a brief overview of some of the Postsecondary Preparations components of ACP (Academic Career Planning) that show up on state report cards. The workshop will provide definitions of Work Based Learning and Youth Apprenticeship along with a discussion of the differences, things to consider when supporting students preparing for these opportunities, resources, and supports connected to these opportunities from Xello and CESA 12. The focus of this workshop is to provide a base knowledge on these areas. Middle and High School counselors and administrators who may not be directly involved in the state report card would benefit in developing a base knowledge as their roles can influence these areas. Teachers involved with the district or building-level ACP teams would also benefit from building up a base knowledge.

*This workshop will be recorded and those who register will also receive the recording.
