AI & the Writing Process - This CAN Work! (Rms 1/2)

The AI & the Writing Process workshop is designed for educators who want to explore the pros and cons of AI in student writing. We will begin the day unpacking the past pros and cons of students using AI in the writing process along with sharing participant experiences from the classroom. The focus will then turn to ways to both design lessons/tasks to include the use of AI in writing along with strategies to make tasks “AI-proof.” The afternoon will focus on the revision of upcoming units or assessment plans to reflect the learning from the morning. Participants will also have time to connect with others in like roles to share their work.
