Administrative Rule P18 requires schools to have a long-range Library Plan. Does your district combine library and technology plans into one long-range plan? Does your district need to renew your long-range library/tech plan? Does your district need to draft a library/tech plan for the first time? If you answered YES to any of these questions, this workshop is for you!
This requested opportunity is for Library Media Specialists teams of up to 3. School Tech Specialists (or Directors) are welcome to attend as a team member as well. Cross-grade level representation is preferred.
Participants will come together and draft out a comprehensive long-range library (and tech, if appropriate) plan together. Participants will be asked to do a little pre-work to come prepared to draft goals and action plans as a result of the workshop.
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
