2012 Workshop Fees are $250 per person (will be billed to your school district)
UW-L Credits are available for an additional $125 for (1) Credit or $250 for (2) Credits

About The Academy
Washburn Academy seeks to promote student achievement through the professional staff development of PK-12 educators in all subject areas.
Hands-on learning is emphasized to help teachers engage students in collaborative problem solving, and higher order thinking. The Academy also promotes academic rigor and real-world relevance through business tours and activities. Washburn Academy is a cooperative effort of CESA #4 and UW-La Crosse, with the support of the Onalaska School District.
Who Attends Washburn Academy?
The Academy is designed for all public and private school teachers and administrators.
The $50 registration fee is nonrefundable.
Please note: Workshops with less than 10 enrollees may be cancelled and participants will be enrolled in one of their alternate workshop choices.
**In submitting my online registration, I give my permission for any Washburn Academy photographs to be used for publicity purposes.**
Participants who want to receive graduate credits pay an additional tuition fee. To apply for credit please go to: http://www.apply.wisconsin.edu
Washburn Academy and UW-La Crosse are separate enrollments.

IMPORTANT Notes: ALL credit fees must be paid by the first day of your workshop.

Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
