This full-day workshop digs deeper into conversations that lead to action for empowering school leaders. We believe that effective leaders of equitable systems must become leaders of self before becoming effective leaders of others. Effective school leaders understand that uncertainty and discomfort is inevitable when advocating and leading others. We will explore tools to help leaders navigate and nurture others while embracing uncertainty and discomfort in their quest to be leaders of equitable and joyful schools. This interactive session will provide new ideas, practice, and tangible take-aways to be implemented the next day.

Participants will:

  • Understand a framework for reimagining leadership in schools.

  • Explore their why and purpose for leading.

  • Identify steps to put into practice to grow collective efficacy.

  • Engage and connect with other like-minded leaders.

  • Experience joy!
