The project aims to empower middle school teachers within CESA 12 to become leaders capable of enhancing secondary math teachers' instructional practices and ensuring the effective implementation of Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMPs) through the use of high-quality instructional materials.
CESA 12 faces a challenge with CTE concentrators not meeting proficiency on the math ACT assessment. By focusing on middle school math instruction and ensuring high-quality materials and SMPs are integrated, the project seeks to improve ACT scores sustainably. The project aims to address both teacher instruction and student learning opportunities while also addressing systemic inequities in the educational system.

Cost: Registration covered through Wiselearn OER Grant - $175 per person (cost recovery for meals)
Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.Weather conditions:
