ACP Fall Meeting 2023 by Learning Services
As part of the employment state statute, all school districts in Wisconsin are required to have a plan on how Academic and Career Planning (ACP) is being implemented for students. This plan must be updated every year, approved by the school board, posted on the district’s website, and shared with parents and caregivers.
The recent pandemic has left many school districts out of compliance with PI-26 requirements. Therefore, in partnership with CESAs, school districts across the state will have the opportunity to participate in a community of practice that will support you in the process of creating or updating your ACP plan!
During this session, you will be provided with templates to develop:
- An ACP Plan for your district the fulfills the requirements of the law and DPI administrative rule
- An executive brief and a slide deck presentation of your plan ready to share with your board of directors for approval
- Content that is ready to be uploaded to your district’s website and shared with parents and caregivers as well as industry and community partners!
Most importantly, you will have a solid plan on how to ensure your students are ready to make good career and education decisions once they graduate from your district
