PBIS Positive Behavior Interventions & Support
Presenter: Kent Smith, MSSW, CISW, CSSW, State Trainer (Tier I and II) Wisconsin PBIS Network
This training is intended for new team members joining existing, and implementing PBIS Universal Teams. This training will teach new team members the foundation concepts of PBIS, purpose of universal expectations and matrix, data collection and analysis, acknowledgement systems and team roles.
Attendees need to bring copies of their building matrix, ODR form, copies of behavior lesson plans, copy of SAS, BoQ and/or TIC data as well as Big 5x2 data reports.
Audience: Building level Universal team that includes the following: Building administrator, external and internal coaches, regular education teachers that represent grade levels, special education teacher, social worker and/or psychologist, specials teacher, paraprofessional, and family members.
$125.00 per person (Includes lunch and handouts)
**If your district has more than 4 new PBIS team members,you can send 5 people for $500.00**
Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
