2023 Health Science Career Day

During this all-day event, students will explore over two dozen health science careers with professionals from Mayo Clinic School of Health Science and the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.  Career-centered breakout sessions and an interactive expo center will allow students a chance to "try on" multiple health science careers, explore a day-in-the-life, and ask important career pathway questions.

Registration and Expo Hall open at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Upon completion of the myQuickReg registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your chaperone and student information.  The registration deadline for this event will be November 3, 2023.

The fee for this event is $15 per person for each student and chaperone, which covers morning and afternoon snacks and boxed lunces.  Invoicing will be done on November 1, and payment must be received prior to the event.

Learning objectives for this event include:

• Students will explore multiple, high-demand health science careers with local employers.
• Students will gain an understanding on how to build a health science career pathway, including post-secondary career, training, and educational opportunities.
• Students will have access to manipulatives to engage in hands-on learning within multiple health care careers.
