PBS Wisconsin Education Specialist, Nick Ostrem, will focus on tools, resources, and strategies to teach students how to analyze and evaluate online sources of information. Full-day training includes lateral reading, identifying bias in sources, and critically analyzing media. We will then have 3 follow-up Zoom sessions to take a deeper dive into fake news and misinformation, media bias and objectivity, and digital manipulation and photo editing.

Cost: $25 per person (cost recovery for meals)
For the Zoom Deep Dives, the myQuickReg registration program that CESA 12 uses will automatically send the Zoom link information to each registered participant two days prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received by the registration deadline date stated on the event for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee (substitutions are accepted). CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.Weather conditions:
