These sessions are designed to deepen understanding of content and instructional practices through active participation in effective professional development related to the professional Wisconsin Educator Standards for educators and pupil services professionals (such as school counselors, school social workers, interventionists, and special education teachers). Each session engages the learner by exploring teaching strategies that support all students, including advice from veterans in addition to new learning. This series will also offer new educators a chance to collaborate with peers on a topic of their choice, building a network across the region and a community of support.
Series details:
- The August 4th session is a "kick-off" event for all new educators across the region. This will be a fun-filled day that will offer community and networking opportunities prior to the start of the school year!
- Participating districts will have opportunities for continued networking and support throughout the school year.
