Technology, E-text, online textbook, iPads, flipped learning, digital WOW!
Technology has exploded onto the education scene and with it comes opportunity!
Let’s explore these new tools and how they can help support the learning efforts of struggling students.
We will look at iPads, Smartboards, interactive web content, new and emerging options in e-text access and use of the AIM navigator to guide consideration of NIMAS compliance during the IEP process. Even phone technology is on the table! It will be a fast paced day of exploration!
Options that will be explored
- What tasks are my students struggling to complete?
- How can technology help ?
- How can interactive websites help students explore and grasp concepts in new ways?
- How can we use interactive whiteboards to increase action in learning and access to all?
- What are some options for supporting reading, writing and project production?
- What can e-text, mobiles and digital options look like in my classroom?
- How can I reach our more complicated students?
Participants are encouraged to bring laptops, iPads or other mobile devices.
