This training is for anyone working under the supervision of a school nurse. Secretaries and other staff working with students that have medical needs.

- District Policy/Procedures/Protocol and the school handbook. Where do you find that and why is it important?
- Confidentiality and medical records
- Medication Hands on training for Epinephrine, Glucagon, Narcan, Inhalers (staff should watch DPI videos prior to attending)
- WISHeS Protocol, First Aid, bandages to broken bones, asthma, seizures and more
- G-tubes
- Diabetic overview, carb counting, and where to find more in depth training
- Field trips
- Accident reports
- Documentation and Health office visits
- Immunization laws and reporting
- Calling 911
- Screening for Vision and Hearing
- Health Office tasks and timelines

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
