Social-Emotional Student Support Teams and Systems Collaborative

2023 - 2024 Collaborative Series

This quarterly collaborative focuses on the strategies, interventions, and system structures for students who need additional support related to social-emotional learning, behavior, mental health, trauma, and neurodiversity. 

Who Should Participate?

Staff members who design and implement social emotional and/or behavioral support and interventions with students. (Examples: Behavior Coaches, Classroom Teachers, School Counselors, School Psychologists, Student Support Team Members)
 
Purpose

Participants will engage in shared learning in topics related to supporting students with social-emotional-behavioral needs activated by trauma, mental health challenges, neurodiversity, and/or missing skills. Topics addressed will include:

• Systems that support teaming 
• Relationship and connection building
• Effective data collection and monitoring (aligned with requirements for special education eligibility requirements)
• FBA and BIP implementation
• Effective supports for students who require additional support in social-emotional-behavioral regulation, sensory processing and/or executive functioning

Participants will have opportunities to inform series content, network, and engage in “just in time” problem solving conversations.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
